The Traverse is a three-row SUV that seats seven or eight, depending on whether you choose captain’s chairs or a bench seat in the second row. Even adults can sit comfortably in the third row of the Traverse.
The third row is a 60/40 split-bench, allowing you to maximize your cargo capacity while still having plenty of passenger room. Also included is an updated version of the Buckle to Drive feature. This requires the front-seat passenger and driver to be buckled before driving. New for 2024 is the rear seat belt reminder, which alerts the driver if second or third-row passengers are not buckled in.
Entertainment and Connectivity Options
The interior of the new Chevy Traverse is packed with tech and connectivity features. It’s outfitted with a best-in-class 17.7-inch color touchscreen. That’s more than twice as large as the largest screen available in the previous Traverse! Other tech features include available wireless phone charging and Wi-Fi hotspot, while six USB ports are standard. You’ll also enjoy the peace of mind that comes with OnStar connectivity.
Additional interior features include:
- 11-inch configurable driver information center
- Column-mounted electronic transmission shifter that opens up more useable space between the driver and front passenger
- A pass-through console design that provides even more storage capability
- Available heated front and second-row outboard seats
- Available heated steering wheel and outside mirrors
- Premium Evotex seating surfaces available on LT and Z71 trims
- Leather-appointed first- and second-row seating surfaces are standard on RS
