How Does the Multi-Flex Tailgate Work? 

To achieve peak performance and convenient bed access, the Multi-Flex Tailgate adds these unique features to the functions already enjoyed by Silverado drivers:

• Primary Gate
  Identical to a traditional tailgate, the primary gate can be opened using the key fob, from inside the truck or from a button on the tailgate itself.        

• Primary Gate Load Stop
  The primary gate load is an effective solution that prevents tools and other items from sliding out of the box. Note: The primary gate must be open as well. 

• Inner Gate Folds 
  The inner gate folds down to ensure ease of access when loading and unloading. 

• Full Width Step
  Simply fold down the inner gate into a large step for easy bed access. There’s even an assist handle – along with an impressive maximum weight capacity of 375 pounds!

• The Inner Gate Load Stop
  This load stop prevents second-tier items from sliding out of the box. It also flips up to secure cargo when transporting stacked loads.
