Charging Made Easy

With the ever-growing EV market comes the increase in available charging stations in your area. Chevrolet provides a variety of charging options, including at-home charging and on-the-go options. You can customize your charging needs to your lifestyle.

With on-the-go charging, there are over 110,000 public charging points in the US and Canada. You can locate the most convenient charging stations for you with the help of the MyChevrolet Mobile App.

While the use of electric cars is growing, so is the amount of charging stations in your area. Chevrolet gives buyers multiple options for charging at home, making it easier to customize your car to your lifestyle. With at-home charging, Chevy will cover the installation of a turnkey, standard 240-volt outlet from Qmerit when you purchase or lease a Chevy EV. In addition, you’ll have access to an EV concierge who will deliver a one-on-one experience to answer any questions you may have about EV charging.

Home charging comes in three different available levels, and you can choose the right one for you based on your budget and lifestyle. Level 1 comes with a standard electrical outlet and provides about four miles of range per hour of charge. If your daily commute is around 40 miles or less, Level 1 could be a great option for you.

Level 2 comes with a 240-volt appliance outlet that allows for approximately 25 miles of range per hour of charge. This is the recommended everyday charging solution, as it can fully recharge in 10 hours with the available Dual Level Charge Cord.

Level 3 is the fastest way to charge your EV at home. It also comes with a 240-volt outlet but includes a 48-amp charging unit. You can achieve approximately 39 miles of range per hour of charge. Level 3 is a fast, easy way to top off your charge before you head out.

Public charging comes in two levels: Level 2 and DC Fast Charging. Level 2 charging is for charging around town. Level 2 charging stations are available at different areas around town such as shopping malls, grocery stores, and parking garages, so you can grab a quick charge while you work, eat, or shop. DC Fast Charging is great for charging up while on long road trips. These charging stations can add up to 100 miles of range in approximately 30 minutes. You can use your MyChevrolet Mobile App to plan your route and locate public charging stations along your route.
