Chevrolet has revealed its most rugged, ready-to-ride model yet: the 2022 Chevy Silverado ZR2. The new model looks refined, playing nice for city drives and work commutes. But when it’s unleashed on the road less traveled, the Silverado ZR2’s off-roading capabilities can’t be denied.

The adventure-ready Chevy Silverado ZR2 is more than capable when it comes to power and performance, equipped with these features:
- 420 horsepower with 6.2-liter V-8, 460 lb-ft of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission
- 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory off-road tires
- Advanced Multimatic Dynamic suspensions Spool Valve dampers (similar to the smaller off Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 )
- Front and rear electronic locking differentials
- Available Terrain Mode (similar to off road cruise control)
- 11.2 inches of ground clearance
- Skid plates
- High-approach steel front bumper with removable end caps
- Available max trailering package to optimize trailering capacity
The Chevy Silverado ZR2 will compete with the RAM 1500 TRX, allowing drivers to choose from various trim levels and engine options.
Interior Style and Technology
The biggest upgrades to Chevy’s latest model happen within, including a stunning dashboard and digital display. Drivers can expect a 12.3-inch fully digital gauge cluster and 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Plus, more upscale interior materials contribute to the luxurious vibe. There’s even an electronic shifter mounted on the center console!
