A new ZR2 trim has been added for 2024, joining Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country models.

Previously offered with only one powertrain, the new Silverado 2500 and 3500 give drivers more opportunity for customization. Choose between these engine options:

Standard 6.6L V8 engine

Available 6.6.L Duramax turbodiesel V8 engine

470 horsepower 

975 lb-ft of torque

The Allison 10-speed automatic transmission replaces the six-speed automatic, adding 2,000 pounds to these heavy-duty pickups’ Gross Combined Weight Rating – now totaling a hefty 26,000 pounds. This new transmission, along with Adaptive Cruise Control with Trailering technology, optimizes braking when hauling heavy loads.
