Equipped with 35-inch OD MT tires–the largest in their class–even the base Colorado model is ready for adventure. It also has 12.2-inch ground clearance and boron steel skid plates for unmatched protection.

The all-new ZR2 was created with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) and is one of the most off-road capable trucks on the market. It boasts best-in-class ground clearance, breakover angle, and underbody protection, making it easy to tackle any terrain.

And no matter what kind of cargo you’re carrying, the Colorado gets the job done with ease. It boasts 8 cargo tie downs (best-in-class 17 tie downs are available), a mid-position tailgate with available Stowflex tailgate, a power outlet in the bed, cargo bed lighting, and 7,700 pounds max towing capacity.

Advanced Features and Technology

The Colorado may be rugged, but you’ll still enjoy high-tech features like an 11.3-inch touchscreen, 10 available camera views, available wireless charging, and more. Google is built in and there is an available trailering app for those that frequently haul.

Well-Known Performance and Capabilities

Under the hood of the 2024 Colorado, you’ll find Chevy’s turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four engine with various outputs depending on your trim level. WT and LT models deliver 237 horsepower, while the Z71, Trail Boss, and ZR2 models get the 310 horsepower version of the same turbo 2.7-liter. All Colorado models have an eight-speed automatic transmission. 

In addition to a powerful engine, the 2024 Colorado is equipped with up to five driving modes to adapt to all road conditions:

• Normal – the default mode, designed to deliver the best performance for everyday drives.
• Off-road – offers extra traction on loose surfaces like grass, mud, gravel, and snow.
• Terrain – helps tackle steep hills and driving over obstacles. Automatic brake application also provides enhanced climbing control.
• Tow/haul – optimizes your truck’s performance when towing or hauling heavy loads.
• Baja – this mode is exclusive to ZR2, and optimizes power delivery, stability, and traction control on sandy terrain.
